Concrete Sealers, Slip-Reducing Additives & Application Tools
Concrete finishes protect for decades when they are sealed correctly, and fail within a season when they are not. The right sealer keeps colour, texture and slip resistance in the surface where they belong, and keeps oil, sunscreen, salt and pool chemistry off it.
We supply premium acrylic concrete sealer for driveways, pool surrounds, exposed aggregate and honed concrete, along with slip-reducing additives and the right rollers for a clean, even coat. Everything ships Australia-wide from our Perth warehouse.
The range is the same one Perth concreters, pool builders and landscapers spec on their own jobs.
The Range
Premium Acrylic Concrete Sealer
Our acrylic concrete sealer is a solvent-based, high-solids formulation designed for exposed aggregate, honed concrete, polished concrete, coloured concrete and stamped concrete. Two coats on a properly prepared slab and the finish holds its colour and integrity for years, not months.
The sealer wet-looks the finish, brings out aggregate colour, resists UV yellowing, and stands up to pool chemistry, salt exposure and typical vehicle traffic on driveways.
Applied with a compatible lambswool roller. For pool decks, alfresco areas and any wet surface, blend in a slip-reducing additive before the top coat.
What is in the Range

- ✓Acrylic Thinners for correct viscosity and clean-up.
- ✓A Coat and Q Coat slip-reducing additives for pool surrounds and alfresco.
- ✓Lambswool nap rollers in 230mm and 270mm for streak-free coats.
The Concrete Sealer Range
Sealer, thinners, slip-reducing additives and application rollers — everything needed to seal a concrete or aggregate finish properly and keep it looking sharp for the long run.
Why a Quality Acrylic Sealer Matters
Cheap water-based sealers wet-look for a few weeks, then flake, whiten or peel. A properly formulated solvent-based acrylic sealer bonds into the concrete surface, brings the aggregate colour up, and stays clear under UV and pool chemistry.
The difference shows up two summers in. Sealed correctly the first time, the finish still reads as brand new. Sealed with the wrong product, the slab has to be stripped back and re-sealed — and stripping acrylic sealer off exposed aggregate is not a small job.
Slip-Reducing Additives
A Coat & Q Coat
Sealer on its own is smooth. For any surface that gets wet — pool surrounds, alfresco, patios, ramps — a slip-reducing additive is stirred through the top coat of sealer to give a fine texture that grips without ruining the aesthetic.
A Coat Additive
General-purpose slip-reducing additive for concrete sealer. Sprinkled through the top coat, gives a fine grip texture on aggregate and honed concrete surfaces. Ideal for driveways and paths that need slip resistance without a coarse finish.
Q Coat Additive
Finer-grade slip-reducing additive. Preferred where the finish must stay visually clean — pool decks, alfresco entertaining areas, polished concrete edges. Same slip protection, less visible texture.
Acrylic Thinners
Matched acrylic thinners for correct sealer viscosity, especially on hot Perth days, and for cleaning rollers and tools between coats. Using the wrong thinners is the single most common cause of sealer failure.
Specifying and Applying the Sealer
A quality acrylic sealer is straightforward to apply if the surface is prepared correctly and the weather cooperates. The details below are what our commercial concreters and pool builders check on every job.
- 1Cure the concrete fully before sealing. Fresh concrete needs 28 days minimum to release enough moisture. Sealing too early traps water and turns the finish milky.
- 2Clean and dry the surface. Any dust, tyre marks or moisture under the sealer will show through the finish permanently. Pressure-wash if needed and let it dry fully.
- 3Two coats, minimum. The first coat penetrates and primes, the second builds up the wet-look and gloss. Skip the second coat and the sealer wears through in high-traffic areas within twelve months.
- 4Roll, do not spray. A quality lambswool nap roller gives a controllable, even coat with no over-spray drift. Spraying reduces cover and wastes sealer.
- 5Add slip-reducer to the top coat only. Stir A Coat or Q Coat additive through the second coat, not the first. Applied under a bond coat it looks patchy.
- 6Avoid the hottest part of the day. Perth summers can flash-cure the sealer before it self-levels, leaving roller lines. Early morning or late afternoon is best.
