Pool Skimmer Lids and Concrete Inspection Lids

Plastic lids crack under UV, discolour within a season, and sit proud of the deck like an afterthought. Our pool skimmer lids are made from 316L marine-grade stainless steel with a recessed tray that accepts wet-pour concrete or paving infill, so the lid sits completely flush with the surrounding surface. Clean finish. No visible hardware. No replacements every few years.

Whether you’re a pool builder spec’ing a new concrete deck, a landscaper tiling around an existing pool, or a homeowner replacing a broken lid that’s been driving you mad, this is the right product.

Pool Skimmer Lids for Concrete and Paved Surrounds

We stock concrete skimmer lids in two standard openings, 246mm and 276mm, to suit the most common inground pool skimmer box sizes in Australia. Each lid includes a stainless-steel tray that sits into the opening and a recessed infill area that you fill with your own concrete or wet-pour rubber to match the surrounding surface exactly. Once installed, the skimmer box disappears.

For tiled or paved pool surrounds, the paving and tile skimmer lids use the same design with an adjusted tray depth to accommodate standard paving thickness. Available in both 246mm and 276mm openings. Same 316L construction, same flush result, different substrate.

Every lid in this range comes with the SSS Safety Key for tool-free skimmer access during regular pool maintenance and is backed by a 20-year manufacturer warranty. These aren’t seasonal products. Buy once, done.

Concrete Inspection Lids for Hidden Access Points

The same problem exists beyond the pool edge. Standard inspection lids are functional, but they ruin an otherwise considered finish. Our concrete inspection lids solve that. The 316L stainless steel frame sits into the opening, the recessed tray accepts a concrete infill matched to your surrounding surface, and the access point becomes effectively invisible until you need it.

Available in 450x450mm and 600x600mm formats to suit standard inspection chamber and service pit openings. The 150mm sewer inspection lid is also available for smaller access points in concrete driveways and paths. All rated for foot traffic once installed.

Builders and landscapers use these wherever a standard lid would compromise the finish, including pool equipment access, stormwater chambers, sewer inspection points, and underground service areas.

Why 316L Marine-Grade Stainless Steel

Not all stainless steel performs the same outdoors. Grade 316L contains molybdenum, which gives it substantially better resistance to chloride corrosion than standard 304-grade steel. For anything installed around a pool, in a coastal environment, or set into the ground long-term, 316L is the correct specification. It’s why we can offer a 20-year warranty on every lid in this range, and why you won’t be back shopping for a replacement in three years.

All lids ship Australia-wide. If you need help confirming the right size for your skimmer box or inspection opening, get in touch before you order.
